Default display units
A number of unit system settings are provided which you can selected by clicking the Reset Display Units button on the Display Units form. These are the units that are displayed in the application. Internally, JewelSuite uses SI units for all quantities.
Field with degrees for angles and feet for distances
Field/UTM with degrees for angles and meters for distances
Metric with degrees for angles and meters for distances
SI SI unit system, with radian for angles
By default, the Field unit system is selected.
Below is an example of the changes seen in the quantities based on each unit system.

To change the default unit system
- In the Home > Settings sub-strip, click Display Units to open the Display Units form.
- At the top of the form, click the Reset Display Units button.
- Select Field, Field/UTM, Metric, or SI.
